Everyone is welcome to march with us, but we particularly welcome LGBTQ people to bring their parents and families and march together! You must RSVP below if you would like to march.
Where: PFLAG Atlanta truck on the bridge at West Peachtree st. when you exit from MARTA Civic Center Station. (more details will arrive by email when you RSVP)
When: Sunday Oct 14th, 2018 latest by 10:30 a.m.
Make sure you are present near the PFLAG Atlanta truck outside the MARTA Civic Center Station latest by 10:30 a.m. Please note that there is NO parking near the station, so please utilize MARTA to get there. Please ask a Pride volunteer for assistance if you cannot locate us.
The parade itself steps off at 12:00 p.m. and the parade route is a slow walk of about 2 miles from the Civic Center station to Piedmont Park.
Buy a PFLAG T-shirt to show your pride
Marching with us is 100% more fun if you have on one of our “I am Loved” t-shirts.
Click here to buy a PFLAG t-shirt (opens in new window). The last day to order a t-shirt online is Saturday October 1st at 9:00 p.m. When you order them, you can pick them at the PFLAG truck before the parade.
Make a sign to carry in the parade
We would recommend carrying a sign of love and support if you are marching with us. Making a sign is easy! Buy a foamboard (20″ x 30″) available atWalmart or a dollar store, decorate it and put your message in a LARGE and VISIBLE letters. If you would like, we recommend stapling a stick at the bottom to carry it so it can be seen. See these examples.
Visit us in the Pride Festival Market
We will be in the Pride Festival Market at the PFLAG Atlanta booth from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday after the parade. Come by and see us! We’re still looking for a couple of volunteers to help us at the booth. If you feel like you can help by sharing your PFLAG experiences or just by giving someone a hug, indicate that in the RSVP above. If you’d like to see some of the other events happening around Atlanta Pride, take a look at the Official Atlanta Pride website.
