It’s October again and time for the 42nd Annual Atlanta PRIDE Festival! This year too, PFLAG Atlanta will be marching in the Pride parade at 1pm on Sunday Oct 14th as well as have a Booth in the Pride Festival Market on both Oct 13th and 14th from 11am to 5pm.

If this is your first Atlanta Pride festival, nothing you have experienced so far can quite prepare you for the amazing experience that is Pride weekend. Atlanta and all of Georgia and the Southeast comes together to show our love and support for our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning friends and family. People run onto the street to tearfully hug our parents and thank us for the work PFLAG does for the community.

If you are marching with us this year at the Pride Parade, make sure you are present near the PFLAG Atlanta truck outside the MARTA Civic Center Station latest by 12.30pm. Please note that there is NO parking near the station, so please utilize public transport/MARTA to get there. The parade itself steps off at 1pm and the parade route is a slow walk of about 2 miles from the Civic Center station to Piedmont Park.

Choose your t-shirt size and click the ‘Add to Cart’ button, the shopping cart will open in another window. Come back to this window to add t-shirts in other sizes. You will be able to pick t-shirts up at the PFLAG Atlanta truck at the start of the parade outside Civic Center MARTA station. There is a hotel bathroom nearby if you would like to change. Please email [email protected] with any questions you might have. If you sign up for an individual or family membership, you get $5 back for each t-shirt you buy!

Almost 200,000 LGBT people of all ages come through the Pride Festival market and they love stopping by the PFLAG booth to say hello, get a hug and some advice. Help us by signing up for a couple of time slots. You require no experience and we will tell you what you can do to help when you show up for your shift.

If you have indicated above that you would like to volunteer at the PFLAG Pride Booth, please select all time slots that are convenient for you.

We will assign you one time slot based on your availability and our need. Our co-ordinator will be in touch and give you all the guidance you need. All you need is love!

On Saturday Oct 13th and Sunday Oct 14th, we will be in the Pride Festival Market at the PFLAG Atlanta booth from 11am to 5pm. Come by and see us!
