OK, so you’ve come out, or are in the process of transitioning. Finding love can be tricky as you navigate the various options available to connect with others. A speakers panel will talk about the journey to find love and a partner. If you’re single, or a couple and you’d like to share your experiences or get some new ideas, join us! We meet on the third Sunday afternoon of every month at Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta. Parents and family who are struggling with the news of a loved one coming out and lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender persons are encouraged to attend our support group meetings. If you are lesbian, gay, bi or transgender and would like to come out to your friends and family, and are looking for ways to come out, this is an excellent place to get support and ideas that have worked for others. We often have a program or speaker from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. After our program, we have an hour of facilitated support groups. These meetings will run to 5pm. If we only have support groups (no speaker/program) our meeting ends at 4pm. In support groups, we share our stories but do not counsel. Trained facilitators moderate the discussion. Everything that is said within the group remains confidential.

Attending a PFLAG meeting is ALWAYS free and we encourage you to attend if you are a parent, LGBT person or a straight ally. We share our stories but do not counsel. Entrance is from the left hand side of the building, towards the back. Look for the PFLAG sign.

  • Take I-85S to Clairmont Exit 91. Take the exit and cross over Clairmont Rd.
  • Bear right on fork to stay on Access Road/Expressway.
  • You will pass REI. Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta will be on right. (Look for blue sign. If you pass Floor Décor you have gone too far.)

From Downtown Atlanta/85S/75S

  • Take 85N to Clairmont Exit 91. Stay in the leftmost lane and do a U-turn under the highway.
  • Bear right on fork to stay on Access Road/Expressway.
  • You will pass REI. Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta will be on right. (Look for blue sign. If you pass Floor Decor you have gone too far.)

Take the train to Brookhaven Station. From Brookhaven Station, catch the 47 bus towards I-85 Access Rd/Briarwood Rd - Chamblee (link to schedule).
